Much of the literary community exists online. Writers from around the world are published digitally by online literary journals and magazines. Their creative works are then available via journals' websites; however, many of these publications struggle to connect with large audiences. Litly seeks to bridge the gap between readers and writers by serving as a digital library of creative works published online. Think Duotrope, but for readers.
The Litly Project began in 2016 and launched in 2017 at the annual AWP conference, held that year in Washington D.C.
